Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary is a Reptile Rescue Zoo; is a place where all reptiles and amphibians find a safe haven and proper care needed to live out their lives safely and securely. Many of the residents in the Sanctuary have come from a variety of places for many reasons all needing good homes and loving care. Some have come from law enforcement, animal control, and from owners who were unable to care for them. It is David Critchlow's goal to create an Alligator Sanctuary that will become an attraction for reptile and amphibian enthusiasts, and is also a safe haven for domesticated reptiles. The goal of the Sanctuary is to continue to create a hands-on and up-close opportunity for people to observe the animals in a semi-natural environment, as well as provide a safe, clean, and protected area for all the animals as well as visitors. David also travels to various schools, libraries and educational events as well as conduct onsite crocodilian classes for anyone interested in learning more about the behavior and biology of these amazing and misunderstood creatures.
