Dear friends, David, Peter, Lina & Carmen appreciate all of your support for our first year in Athens. We met new friends and visited with old ones. Mr. C. taught the alligator’s new ways to entertained you. We could not have saved so many lives without you. We are attempting to build a sanctuary that will become a beacon of hope for a new generation of compassionate animal lovers! The animals at the Alligator Sanctuary love their new home in Athens and hope to make it a permanent one. The alligator sanctuary is a happy, comfortable, and healthy environment for them to live out their lives. They enjoy living in the Michigan summer heat, but they are in desperate need of a warm winter home. The Alligator Sanctuary has saved the lives of dozens of very special creatures, but your help is essential for them to stay alive for the winter. Please contribute to the welfare of these animals with anything you can, no amount is too small or too large. We hope to return them outside healthy and happy in the spring but we can’t do it without the help of our fellow animal lovers. If you haven’t been out to see us, the 2009 season opens April 03.
